1. The photo you uploaded.
2. Your name (or that of your immediate family or family member, pet or baby). *Last names not required.
3. The name of the Dane County 501(c)(3) non-profit charity you support.
*All additional information entered will remain private and will only be used for contest administration. We will not sell your information or spam you later for any reason.
I’m shy and don’t feel comfortable putting my name or face on a public forum. Can I still participate?
You Bet! That’s the fun of it, you can submit your pet or baby as a champion for your charity as well. Your personal information is confidential and the main requirements are that you provide a valid email address and that you are at least 18-years-old (the person in the picture doesn’t have to be 18 or old, but you have to be).
If I upload a picture that isn’t who I say it is or is copyrighted by a third party, will I be disqualified?
Yes. Any fraudulent, copyrighted or submissions not in the spirit of the contest will be disqualified.
What if someone else is already a “champion” for a charity I want to represent?
Great! We encourage multiple champions for each charity. But to be clear, it’s the individual participants with the most votes at the end of the contest that win the donation on behalf of the charity not the aggregate amount of votes a charity has received from multiple participants who champion them.
What if I win and I want to donate the iPad 2‡ to my charity as well?
Great question! Yes, you can do whatever you want with your iPad 2‡ if you win, including donating it to charity.
‡iPad 2 is a trademark of Apple, Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
What non-profits are eligible for the prize money?
While we want this to be a celebration of non-profits, only charities classified as Dane County, Wisconsin 501(c)(3) non-profits are eligible for the cash donations.
What qualifies as a 501(c)(3) non-profit?
